It’s hard to get Sysco to pay attention to you if you’re a food truck, but we’ve worked out an arrangement with them so all our members have access to Sysco’s online catalog and buyer privileges without having to apply for a Sysco account, submit to a credit check etc. We have our own Sysco rep assigned to us, you can call him whenever you need to. When you purchase something you’ll pay MFTA with a paper check and we’ll pay Sysco. Members will have Sysco pickup three times a week on will-call, Tuesday Thursday and Saturday.
Hopefully soon (as part of Ken’s plan for worldwide domination) we’ll have a commissary which will accept Sysco deliveries without members having to be there, but until then it’s will-call.
